I'm just a guy that likes to be outside and do endurance stuff. I don't call it training because I don't really train. I have fun. Fun running, biking, unicycling, swimming, climbing..
I have no formal medical, pharmaceutical, or physical education training what so ever. All my experiences, injuries, and solutions have come about through stupidity, hard headedness, a passion to keep having fun, countless injuries from head to toe, years of trial and error, and guidance from various people.
I will state my solutions to injuries I have had. These may or may not be right for you. It is just what has worked for me. One of the best injury therapies I have found is taking ibuprofen. But ibuprofen doesn't work for everybody, and some are allergic to it. It can also be hard on the liver and kidneys. So even though it works for me, it may not work for you, and in fact could possibly hurt you.
I know my body best. You know your body best. I can not tell you what works for you. I can only tell you what has worked for me. It is up to you to adjust it to what will work for you. There was a lot of trial and error for me, so I am hopeful some people can learn from my many years of mistakes. But please, be very careful with medications and your training effort.
